Hi Tom. By now you should be in great shape and nearing the end of your journey (probably out of beef jerky, but there's more where that came from lol) can't wait to hear about your summer adventures. see you at school Kevin HEath |

Nan Dickie - we think about you often and actually saw the group cycling towards Salmon Arm on July 2 as we drove near Carlin. I am sure we saw you and Bill tooted the horn but it was all so quick. You were in the first 1/3 of the pack. We wish you safety, continued strength and happiness as you fulfill this goal. Blessings from Lorraine and Bill

We had such a fun evening with you Tour du Canada bikers a couple nights ago in Youngstown, AB. I am Nancy, the maker of the Canada-flag cupcakes and Grandma to Bryden, Carter & Avery. On our way to SK the next afternoon, we passed several of you on your way to your next stopover, Kindersley and honked and waved at you. Felt sorry for those of you caught in that bad patch of pelting rain and hail near Kindersley. Ouch!!!! I posted several pictures from the evening on my Facebook and one of my FB friends told me she recognized the gal from Sarnia as her ex-high school classmate!! Safe travels to all of you...and we'll keep checking the Tour du Canada website for updates.

It was so much fun to meet some of the 2010 TdC cyclists at Mile 0 and cycle with you to the ferries. I hope you all have a wonderful adventure as you cycle across Canada and remember it's not a race but a journey as you explore all 10 provinces. Looking forward to reading your e-mails and messages as you head east. I wish I was there with you!!

May each rider of the 2010 tour have a "journey like no other" as they trek across this massive, gorgeous country of ours, Canada. What better way to take a summer vacation then cycling almost 8000k!! Take time to enjoy the scenery, make lasting friendships, and remember, Enjoy the Journey!! Life is Good!

To everyone on this year's tour, have fun! I think there's no better way to see the entire country than by walking, running, or cycling. It's also quite a thrill to trace the route on a map of Canada after each day's ride
